About Us

The Auburn Beautification Commission was established in 2007 as a City of Auburn Commission for the purpose of identifying, coordinating, and funding beautification projects supplemental to procedures conducted by City departments. After applying for not-for-profit 501(c)3 status in 2008, the Auburn Beautification Commission became eligible to apply for and receive grants, donations, and collect sponsorship dues to support our mission of beautifying Auburn, NY.

Currently, Auburn Beautification Commission operates as a 501(c)3 charitable corporation with a volunteer board of directors. These members represent a cross section of community members that share a common interest and dedication to make Auburn a more beautiful place to live, work and play.

As an all-volunteer organization with minimal administrative expenses, our operating budget is 100% funded by grants, sponsorships and donations. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor or member of Auburn Beautification Commission, or want to get involved, check out our Get Involved page, or like us on Facebook.
